ProdShot

Copyright and Takedown Policy

Effective Date: November 4, 2026

ProdShot stores images and other material that users upload. This policy explains how we handle copyright complaints and accounts that repeatedly infringe.

1. Your uploads

You may upload only images and other material you own or have permission to use. Uploading something that infringes someone else's copyright violates the Terms of Service.

2. Repeat infringers

ProdShot will terminate the account of a user who repeatedly uploads infringing material. We may also remove material or suspend or terminate an account after a single clear violation.

3. Sending a takedown notice

If you believe material on ProdShot infringes a copyright you own or control, email a notice to support@prodshot.net with the subject line "Copyright notice."

The notice must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • Identification of the material you claim is infringing, and information reasonably sufficient for us to find it, such as the page URL.
  • Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

4. What we do with a notice

When we receive a notice that meets the requirements above, we will remove or disable access to the material and tell the user who uploaded it. We may also send that user a copy of the notice.

5. Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you may email a counter-notice to support@prodshot.net with the subject line "Copyright counter-notice."

The counter-notice must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before it was removed.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if you are outside the United States, for any judicial district in which ProdShot may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material after 10 business days and no later than 14 business days, unless the person who sent the original notice tells us they have filed a court action.
